Summer Life

I'm still here but I must admit, I've been a little distracted by summer lately.  It's the calm before the storm (that is preserving), so let's just have a moment of silence to enjoy... summer.

  5. Michelle,
It is a Zinnia. My mother always grew these at the edge of her garden- they are wonderful cutting flowers and super easy to grow. My sister used my mom's Zinnias in her wedding...

  7. I know it's a lot of work to blog - but I just love hearing and seeing what you're doing in your garden. Tonight I bought the Ball Blue Book per your recommendation and inspiration. :) Thanks for the time you put into blogging. I have learned much from you.

Just a friendly reminder, if you know me personally please try to refrain from using my name. There are those who may try to locate me, break into my pantry and steal my pickled beets. Thanks:-).
