This week, instead of photos and captions, I made a video. For those of you with dial-up or slow computers, I apologize. For coming off kind of flaky, I apologize as well (all my assumptions of what Jamey had done in the garden were actually correct!). For the brief gusts of wind that make it hard to hear that I'm showing you our pear and sour cherry tree, I apologize as well. Without further ado and with a clear conscience, welcome to our backyard....
Just a little update...the baby bunnies did get transferred to the chicken tractor where they made a super-quick escape when no one was looking. Smart bunnies.
Loved the tour and all the space you have! We are in a subdivision right now and cannot have chickens. Hoping someday we'll find our dreamfarm! Happy gardening...

Oh I'm bummed. I really want to see your tour. But, my computer crashed a few weeks ago & I lost a bunch of info & programs. Since then I haven't been able to re-install the necessary program for watching video clips. :( But, I'm sure you have a lovely backyard & garden!

1 1/2 acres. It's plenty for us. In fact, when it comes to mowing, we wish we had a little less:-).

Loved your tour....my dream is to have a little house and some land where I can garden and have chickens. You've done alot on 1 1/2 acres. Where do you plant the sunflower garden? I've always wanted a wildflower garden so I can have bouquets all summer long! Thank's for sharing your home/garden with the rest of us! Janet
ReplyDeleteOn either side of our house are large, flat yards. The sunflower patch is on one side of our house. The other sits empty and requires mowing. We often think we should plant something out there, too:-).
