A Lorelei Eurto Giveaway!

~  This giveaway has closed.  See who won here. ~

Through giveaways featuring reader's talents, I have learned to know many sweet and talented artists.  One such artist is Lorelei Eurto.  I immediately fell in love with her work and am so excited to share it with you this week.

You all deserve something special after our week last week, right?

I am privileged to own one of Lorelei's bracelets.  It's lovely, it's unique, and it is sooo comfortable.  I love the handcrafted beads and charms she chose and her sense of style as she put it all together, I...Okay.  I'll try to stop talking about my bracelet.  Let's talk more about Lorelei instead.

Surrounded and inspired by the work of some of the world’s greatest artists while working her day job at an art museum, Lorelei has become a prolific, self-taught jewelry designer. She has been creating handmade beaded and wire jewelry since 2007.  Lorelei loves adding unique textural elements to her jewelry. Her designs showcase her love of art beads as well, and her jewelry is fun, practical and easy to wear. She runs a successful online jewelry business and her designs can be seen on her website, in her Etsy shop, her Big Cartel store and on her blog, Inside the Studio. Her work has also been featured in Stringing and BeadStyle magazines.

Would you like to see what Lorelei made especially for this giveaway?  Would you? Huh?  Huh?

The Giveaway:  A specially designed and created charm bracelet for one lucky reader!

This is a mixed media bracelet with a Genuine charm
Ceramic beads- Elaine Ray
Patina chain- MissFickle Media
Vintaj Brass findings

Now, for those of you who immediately fell in love with this bracelet (like I did when I first saw it) and can't stand the thought of it not living on your wrist or the wrist of a loved one, Lorelei has made a second one and it is listed in her Etsy shop right now.

To Enter:  In order to enter for a chance to win this gorgeous charm bracelet, please visit Lorelei's website, Etsy shop or her Big Cartel store.  Browse around then come back here and tell me, in the comments below, which piece you find amazing OR your favorite theme in jewelry.  One entry per household, please.

For those of you who've been having trouble commenting, please feel free to email me (thyhand123@gmail.com) your answer with a name I can identify you with and I will post your entry anonymously for you.

I will randomly select the winner sometime Friday afternoon.

Thank you, Lorelei!!

  1. I love, LOVE Lorelei's style!! Her designs have inspired me in my own designs to mix it up a little, to step out of my comfort zone of patterns and symmetry. :-) And this bracelet is no exception, just fabulous! Thanks for doing this giveaway! My favorite theme in jewelry is nature and Vintaj brass combined.

  2. Wow, this jewelry is stunning! I'm pretty sure I can't pick just one piece, so let me mention a couple. I LOVE the necklace with the colorful beads and the flower material/design pendant (thought I didn't see it for sale anywhere). The necklace in the SOLD section called Graces is beautiful. I would love the Aqua earrings. However, I think b/c of the season, my favorite piece is the bracelet called Falling Leaf - absolutely breathtaking. Carrie B.

  3. I LOVE all of Lorelei's work. She works so hard to make sure each piece is unique, has a solid color scheme and great composition of how beads sit near and far from each other. My favorites are always the pieces with wooden beads because they are just so different and earthy. I have one of her wooden necklaces hanging from my computer monitor and it makes me smile every day.

My favorite piece now is called Petalling in her Big Cartel shop :)

  5. I think the falling leaf bracelet is beautiful, maybe because it is time for fall, or maybe because its my favorite season, and just because it is a beautiful bracelet. I live in new england where the falling leaves are a huge deal its totally the thing to do at this time of year, watch them, play in them, and capture their image. Anywho, this is beautiful work. It would be nice if she made collections, you know necklace bracelet and earrings that go together for fashionably stunted people like me who cant mix and match.

  33. In the Gallery on the website, there's a necklace in the top row, left corner. It features a Jade Scott pendant, and I admire the way Lorelei has brought out each color of the pendant with beautiful beads that are linked, a look that I love. It's arranged in a random way that leads you around before you realize they're all compatible with the pendant! Oh yes, I do love that bracelet, a generous Giveaway! Thank you! Your canning looks marvelous, I'm way behind in that area.

It reminds me of taking a long walk and picking up things and putting them in my pocket, little treasures that I would later add to a string and wear around my neck! Thanks for having the giveaway, I hope I am a winner!

  47. I had never been to Lorelei's site but was struck by the use of different colors and textures and seemingly "everydayness" (I know that's not a real word) of the pieces. It makes me think of casual chic. My favorite piece is the "You are my home" necklace on the first page of her website gallery. It speaks to all that's most important to me and calls up images of the best place in the world...where little hands are the most sophisticated artwork on the walls:-)
