Grief

I feel so much support from all of you, through your comments, your well wishes and your shared faith.

This evening I am asking that you please direct your support (via prayers and thoughts) to my dear friend, Shannon, and her three children.  Shannon lost her husband and her children lost their father this afternoon to brain cancer.

All I can do is cry.  And pray.  Please lift this family up over the next few days.

Give them, dear Lord, their daily bread.

Thank you, friends. Pin It

  6. My prayers are with Shannon and her sweet family. I'm so sorry for this tragic loss. Sometimes life seems so unfair but if we remember that God is in charge we can survive anything. God bless this precious family that needs our faith and prayers.

  7. Oh my how heart breaking my friend, I sure will pray, and I will pray right now. Dear Heavenly Father we come to you asking that you fill this sweet lady with your Spirit of love, peace and hold her and her family tightly to your side, give her strength to survive when she feels like she cannot go on, give her the wisdom to raise her dear children in the absence of her husband, meet their every need, and bless this dear family lord, pour out your blessing on them. Give comfort and give assurance that you are right by their side, you promised you would never leave or forsake us, let them claim this promise for their own, and hold it dear to them, thank you lord and we love you and praise you and count it all glory to be able to come to you in prayer, in the blessed name of Jesus I ask all this, amen.

Know I will continue to pray too dear, hugs, and blessing Barbara

Just a friendly reminder, if you know me personally please try to refrain from using my name. There are those who may try to locate me, break into my pantry and steal my pickled beets. Thanks:-).
